Summary

Are you an expert in DevOps, or just beginning the journey? True “DevOps” is as much a cultural transformation as it is the use of automated tools and technology. In this SIG, we want to help you learn from each other about what works, what doesn’t and how to plan for the transformation that is at the core of “DevOps”. Expect a lively discussion with your peers as you share successes and challenges when implementing DevOps. Note: This is NOT an Applications or Operations SIG, but a discussion focused on how both Apps and Ops can align to deliver better, faster and more efficiently. Functional Testing and SAP Special Interest Group Meeting

Summary

This forum provides an opportunity to share feedback with members of our product organization on Functional Testing and the test automation of an SAP system. It is an opportunity to jointly discuss market trends and internal transformational pressures and how best to tackle them. Topics will include SAP Mobile testing challenges, Composition framework, HANA testing challenges, automation challenges (with BPT and UFT), API testing and SAP testing with Agile development including Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery, etc.

Criteria

Attendees must be part of an organization that tests and manages SAP large scale instances. The customers that will benefit from this session the most will have HP ALM/QC, Business Process Testing and Unified Functional Testing. Also, customers that are currently implementing a test automation strategy for their SAP implementation. Roles are likely to be Test Manager, Automation Engineer, and Business Analyst.
