Overview
In this study, learn how the need for business agility continually increases the push toward the Agile development model however, struggles to handle the traditional project/program portfolio management (PPM) processes. A hybrid approach is fast becoming the only feasible option but making a PPM choice more difficult. Forrester Research conducted an evaluation of the top 10 most significant PPM vendors and scored them based on how well they can handle this changing market. More specifically, vendors were evaluated on their strengths and weakness in functionality. A portion of vendors provided mainly portfolio planning with tactical execution whereas, the others stressed support for planning and work management.
